It’s that time of the year! The NBA and OKC Thunder have released the full 2026-27 Season Schedule!
OKLAHOMA CITY, Aug. 13, 2026 – The Oklahoma City Thunder’s full 2026-27 season was announced today by the NBA. The Thunder will tip off the 2026-27 season on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 8:30 p.m. against the San Antonio Spurs. Oklahoma City will then host the Denver Nuggets on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 8:30 p.m. in its home opener at Paycom Center.
During the 2026-27 season, the Thunder will host 18 home weekend games consisting of six Friday, five Saturday and seven Sunday contests. Additionally, the Thunder will host six homestands comprised of at least three games, including one seven-game homestand from February 5-17. Oklahoma City’s longest road trip of the season is four games from November 10-15.
Oklahoma City will play a Christmas Day game against the Minnesota Timberwolves at 7 p.m. in Minneapolis and will continue team tradition hosting a New Year’s Eve game at 7 p.m. versus the Miami Heat at Paycom Center. The Thunder will also travel to Dallas to take on the Mavericks on Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. for a Martin Luther King Jr. Day game.
The Thunder’s month-by-month breakdown includes six games in October (three home, three road), 15 games in November (five home, 10 road), 13 games in December (six home, five road, two TBD), 16 games in January (nine home, seven road), 11 games in February (seven home, four road), 15 games in March (six home, nine road) and six games in April (four home, two road).
Oklahoma City will participate in 13 back-to-back sets during the 2026-27 season, consisting of five home/home, four road/road, two home/road and two road/home back-to-backs.
The Thunder is scheduled to make 30 nationally-broadcasted appearances, 15 of which are national exclusives, during the 2026-27 season with nine games on NBC/Peacock, eight games on Amazon Prime Video, seven games on ESPN/ESPN App, four games on ABC/ESPN App and two games on Peacock.
Local broadcast plans for the 2026-27 season will be announced in the coming weeks. They will include a broad array of broadcast and streaming options.
All Thunder games will air live on the statewide Thunder Radio Network, led by WWLS (98.1 FM) The Sports Animal in Oklahoma City. All home games are also broadcast in Spanish on WKY (930 AM).
The regular-season schedule includes defined dates and opponents for 80 of the Thunder’s 82 games, along with two games designated as TBD dates and opponents. Those two games will be played the week of Dec. 6 and will be released following the conclusion of the Group Stage games of the Emirates NBA Cup and the Quarterfinals.
